Meredith (Meri) Josephine VanCuyk is an actress and model born in Charlotte, North Carolina. Meri grew up in the northern suburbs of Columbus, OH where she spent long hours in the dance studio learning various disciplines of dance until she chose to focus on Irish dance which gave her the opportunity to travel North America and compete at the champion level. She also spent several years as the captain of a performance dance team. She was heavily involved in Girl Scouts, theater, service work and all things outdoors growing up. In 2017, Meri signed her first modeling contract and in 2018 moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and modeling. Meri loves the creativity of the acting world and has worked on several notable projects such as: Heidi Klum & Tim Gunn's Amazon Prime Series "Making the Cut", the Fox pilot for the hit Korean show "I Can See Your Voice", Gordon Ramsey's Fox series "MasterChef Jr", Travel Channel's "Dark Tales" and more. She has filmed music videos for several artists including Taylor Swift's VMA Award winning "The Man", Brockhampton's "Sugar", Black Eyed Peas ft Tyga "Vida Loca" and Sam Hunt's "Hard to Forget" just to name a few. You will also recognize her from various commercials ranging from beauty products to luxury automotives. She regularly represents Fiji Water Corp on the SAG, Emmy & Spirit Award Red Carpets and has modeled for designers such as Fenty, Alexander McQueen, Fendi, Stella McCartney, VanCleef & Arpels, Vince Camuto and more. She has walked the runway for several designers and given the honor of modeling the finale piece for Michael Costello. She has had beauty campaigns for notable cosmetic and skincare companies, as well as being in the Top 30 for the Sports Illustrated Swimsearch 2019 SI Swimsuit Edition. She loves to train and work on her skills and is always looking for new and diverse opportunities. Besides having a full history of theater, dance and youth training, she has trained in Hollywood at The Second City, with Alyson Horn, Diane Christiansen, Scott Wissner, Killian's and more. Meri is also a member of The International Thespian Society.
