Adam Thayer திரைப்பட பட்டியல்

Relentless in the pursuit of excellence.... passionate for learning... blessed with numerous talents.... multifaceted and multilingual.... only begin to characterize Adam, a San Francisco Bay Area native, who has spent most of his life in the performing arts. After begging his parents to let him take drama lessons, his early theatrical training began at age 12, when he began studying with Lucille Gordon, private coach from New York. In High School, he got a part in every school play he auditioned for, and student-directed the school's Spring play as a Junior. As a theater major in College, Adam was immersed in college and community productions, including summer stock at the University-run Fallon House Theater in the Mother Lode Country of California. It was also during his first year in college that Adam got his first exposure to film acting as background and as a stand-in for Bruce Davison in "The Strawberry Statement" and as background in "R.P.M." with Anthony Quinn and Ann-Margret, both MGM productions. The bug had bitten him, but in the meantime, Adam continued to pursue his penchant for excellence as a professional conference interpreter, earning him plaudits from legendary interpreters at the U.N., Ted Fagan and Nicholas Glebov, and from the organizers of two high-level NATO conferences. Adam also enjoys his position as an oboe and English horn player in several fine community orchestras; he also conducted a South Bay symphony in an evening of waltzes presented by a well-known Bay Area Waltzing Society. In 2006, Adam founded the Bay Area's newest professional opera company, Trinity Lyric Opera, and ran the Company as it presented critically-acclaimed opera presentations over the next three years. While living in France for several years, he appeared in and directed plays in French, and danced in the role of Siegfried as a principal dancer in Swan Lake Act II, and was featured as the Burgermeister in a gala national dance academy competition, presenting the full-length ballet "Coppelia." Deeply spiritual, faith is a foundational element in Adam's life, enabling him to cultivate a daily walk with the Lord, and to find comfort and purpose in His Providence in both good and challenging times. As a student of film acting at Film Acting Bay Area in Emeryville, California, Adam studied all aspects of acting for film and has had the opportunity of working closely with Hester Schell, FABA Faculty Member and founder of Bay Area Casting News. He continues to study with a number of recognized coaches to keep sharp when audition opportunities come along. Much to his delight, his training has equipped him with the skills needed to be equally as effective behind the lens as well, and his work behind the lens has already earned him recognition as a casting director, and as assistant director on several different projects. He has already had noteworthy opportunities for work in lead roles in award-winning feature-length films, in industrials and in indie shorts. He is a quick learner, always eager to improve and a delight to work with.
